Chef – Greek Cuisine (Full Time 38 hrs/week)

hospitality, and culinary excellence, our goal is to deliver a truly immersive Greek dining

experience.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced

Chef to join our team full-time (38 hrs/week) and support our kitchen operations in

delivering high-quality Greek dishes consistently.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare and cook traditional Greek dishes according to restaurant recipes

andstandards (e.g. souvlaki, spanakopita, moussaka, tzatziki).


• Develop and contribute to new menu items inspired by Greek cuisine.


• Ensure all food quality and presentation aligns with restaurant standards

andcustomer expectations.


• Execute authentic cooking techniques, including grilling, baking, and

saucepreparation.


• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised kitchen at all times.


• Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies.


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (temperature logs,

sanitationprocedures, HACCP).


• Assist in onboarding and training of junior kitchen staff.


• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficiency

andconsistency.


• Follow proper portion control and waste management procedures.


• Adapt dishes for dietary requirements (e.g. gluten-free, vegetarian) while

maintainingflavour integrity.

Qualifications & Skills


• Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery (Essential).


• Diploma of Hospitality Management (Highly regarded).


• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef (Greek cuisine experience

highlydesirable).


• Proven knowledge and passion for traditional Greek culinary techniques.


• Ability to lead and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.


• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Creativity, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
