Job DescriptionAbout the role
Join SEEK's Engineering Platforms team as a Technical Product Manager supporting our internal developer platform. You'll help product engineering teams build exceptional experiences for candidates and hirers by managing reliable, scalable platform services across core marketplace domains like Jobs, Applications, Profiles, Identity and Notifications.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product teams to identify integration opportunities that boost speed-to-market and Product consistency.
- Develop vision and roadmap for Marketplace Services based on SEEK's product and technology strategy.
- Define and prioritise platform API backlogs based on technical and business impact.
- Ensure internal APIs and tools are developer-friendly and easy to integrate.
- Gather feedback from internal customers to evolve platform capabilities.
- Set standards for reliability, security and scalability across services.
- Track performance metrics and adoption data to inform decisions.
- Champion a platform mindset across SEEK, encouraging reuse and standardisation across internal systems and expereinces.
Essential Skills and Experience
- B2B product management experience, ideally with 3rd party partnerships.
- Ability to bring clarity to complex, ambiguous situations.
- Strong empathy for engineers and product managers as customers.
- Considerable software development or online product experience.
- Proven ability managing competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and build relationships.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Developer platform experience (internal or external).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Experience delivering technical products at scale.
- Exposure to platform monitoring or developer tooling.
