We are seeking an experienced and passionate **Logistics Coordinator** to join us full time within our offices, located in Richmond, Victoria. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Director, where you will need to be a process driven individual with impeccable time management and organisational skills.
**What you'll be doing**
Working alongside & supporting our existing Product development team, this role ensures that order placement and production is tracked and followed through until delivery of the order to our client.
Previous operations experience is highly regarded - applicants will need to be meticulous with detail, a flair for numbers & have the ability to cross check their work to ensure 100% accuracy whilst ensuring deadlines are met.
**Responsibilities**
- Order management, monitoring order timelines, setting up shipping requirements
- Coordinate the transportation of imported goods, including arranging shipments/consolidation, confirm container bookings, tracking cargo, and managing delivery schedules
- Review and manage import documentation, including commercial invoice, packing list, bills of lading, packing declaration, certificate of origin, and other relevant paperwork
- Monitor and manage the allocation of freight, duty and local charges into product sheets to accurately capture landed costs.
- Managing stock out of local and overseas 3PL warehouses to our customers.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as international & local suppliers, freight forwarders, buying departments and supply chain to ensure orders are delivered to expectation and in a timely manner.
- International supplier hub bookings and document preparation
- Prepare invoices & packing lists for customer deliveries.
- Provide assistance and support to other members of the team
- General operations administration tasks
**Essential skills and experience**
- Proven experience (2 plus years) in import administration, supply chain management (or equivalent experience).
- Cosmetic industry experience is a bonus
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.
- Requires strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional communicator and above all a passion for all things Supply Chain
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to cross check all work to ensure 100% accuracy.
- High proficiency MS Office - especially Excel.
- Previous experience in MYOB would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and perform tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
