The role

As an experienced Supply and Demand Planner you will cover end-to-end supply, inventory, and demand planning across a diverse portfolio of products, brands, and sales channels. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors, you'll drive reliable supply chain execution and foster cross-functional alignment. You'll develop and manage demand forecasts, optimise supply plans from domestic and international sources, and support strategic initiatives including new product introductions and rationalisations. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll implement innovative planning solutions to navigate complexity, volatility, and fast-paced change—ensuring timely delivery, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency across the Australian and global network.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead demand and supply planning activities using SAP IBP, driving process improvements and master data accuracy
  • Facilitate Demand and Supply Reviews, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align forecasts and business assumptions
  • Maintain and optimise forecasting tools and systems to support planning accuracy
  • Support inventory strategy development for new launches, phase-outs, and existing products
  • Own supply planning, master production scheduling, and distribution planning across production sites
  • Align with Production and Purchasing teams to ensure capacity utilisation and stock targets are met
  • Analyse delivery performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Contribute to volume budgeting and S&OP processes from both demand and supply perspectives
  • Participate in cross-functional projects impacting planning, including NPI, rationalisation, and sourcing changes
  • Prepare and distribute regular supply chain reports and support ad hoc planning tasks as required

About you

We're looking for a seasoned supply chain professional with strong planning expertise, technical fluency, and a collaborative mindset. You'll be confident working across functions and cultures, presenting data clearly, and driving innovation in planning processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in a technical or commercial field; postgraduate or APICS certification highly regarded
  • Experience in planning, purchasing, or project management within manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • Advanced SAP and Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of S&OP and NPI processes
  • Experience with international vendors and freight coordination
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement across remote and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and methodical problem solver
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and scalable solutions
