North Queensland Region is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Officer on a temporary full-time basis. The position will provide high quality corporate support to the Directors of both the Student Services team and Student, Child
and Family Connect team (SCFC).

About the Role:

As the Senior Support Officer your role will include:

  • Preparing reports and correspondence for Senior officers, undertaking activities of a specialist or detailed nature and providing, interpreting and analysing information for clients.
  • Using established priorities, task methodology and work practices to achieve results in line with the Departments priorities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Setting priorities and monitoring work flow in the Student Services and SCFC Teams.
  • Co-ordination of a range of corporate office functions.
  • Applying previous experience to act independently, for example, developing local procedures, management strategies and guidelines.
