About the role

Oxygen Hort' is seeking experienced gardeners and a team leader to join our dedicated team in Avalon Beach, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a range of residential and commercial properties across the local area.

What you'll be doing

  • Carry out routine gardening and landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting and weeding
  • Ensure the consistent and high-quality presentation of all properties
  • Operate a range of gardening equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the team to complete larger projects and installations
  • Provide hands-on guidance and leadership to junior team members
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed and report any issues identified

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar gardening or landscaping role
  • Sound knowledge of native and ornamental plant species and their care requirements
  • Proficiency in the use of common gardening tools and equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to provide guidance to others
  • A current driver's licence and reliable transport to access job sites
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labour and lift up to 20kg regularly
  • Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
