About the role

Maroondah Hospital Medical Imaging is a friendly, patient-focussed department providing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services in Melbourne's outer east.

Opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Medical Imaging Technologist to join the team on a permanent full time basis. The busy department encourages continuous learning and development while providing our patients with exceptional care and imaging expertise. The successful applicant will have access to a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive team environment. The position classification will be Grade 1 or 2 depending on experience. This role includes participation in a full rotating roster including evenings and weekends, and nights and on-call duties depending on classification.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Current registration with AHPRA and Victorian Radiation Use License
  • Clinical experience commensurate with years
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
