Stott Hoare requires an Inventory Controller to join its busy warehouse team in Osborne Park.
Responsibilities and Tasks
The Inventory Controller will work in conjunction with the Inventory Team to assist the Inventory Manager with the following.
- Provide high-quality service to staff, customers and suppliers
- Greet all visitors in a welcoming manner
- Sign for, and maintain written evidence, for goods received in the warehouse
- Assist with stock takes and verifying inventory records against stock records
- Discuss any potential areas of improvement with the Inventory Manager
- Maintain positive working relationships with all other staff
Key Performance Indicators
- Correct delivery of goods to customers with complete Proof of Delivery documents
- Ensure Payment Before Delivery sales are not shipped without confirming funds are received with the Credit Controller
- Correct accounting of all internal usage and returned goods
- Ensure monthly category and annual stock-takes are conducted on time and are accurate
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Experience using computer accounting software
- Awareness of the importance of good customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team, in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination is required.
