The Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator & Estimator to join our close-knit team. This is a hands-on role combining estimating, trade procurement, and client liaison, with opportunities for career development within the business.

You'll work directly with (and learn from) the business owner and director, and closely with our construction supervisor, using JackApp to manage estimates, budgets, scheduling, and client selections.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on balancing accuracy with great people skills — guiding clients through important decisions while keeping projects moving.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare and review accurate estimates, tenders, and costings.


• Source and procure trades, materials, and suppliers.


• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and scheduling.


• Manage the entire client selections process, from first choices to final approvals.


• Liaise with clients in a warm, professional manner, ensuring deadlines are met.


• Maintain accurate project files, budgets, and schedules in JackApp.

What We're Looking For


• Proven estimating experience in the residential building industry (essential).


• Experience in trade and supplier procurement.


• Strong organisational and time-management skills.


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.


• High standard of written and spoken English.


• Confidence in guiding clients and keeping them on track.


• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, estimating/project management software – JackApp experience an advantage).
