About Us: Nestled in the beautiful Langhorne Creek wine region, Project Wine is a dynamic contract winery processing 10,000 tonnes of grapes annually from South Australia's finest wine regions. We cater to a diverse client base, handling everything from small boutique batches to large-scale productions.

Position: Cellar Hand

Are you passionate about wine and eager to dive into the winemaking process? We're looking for casual Cellar Hands to join our Vintage 2026 team in late January 2026 or earlier. Experience is a plus, but your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most.

What You'll Do:

  • Crush fresh grapes into juice or must to begin the winemaking process
  • Follow the winemakers guidance to improve those juices/musts and prepare them for fermentation
  • Monitor the fermentation process
  • Operate various filters (RDV, Earth, Xflow)
  • Engage in barrel work and wine tasks (transfers, blending, additions)
  • Load and unload tankers
  • Operate forklifts (licence required)
  • Maintain cellar cleanliness and hygiene
