  • $38 p/h + penalties
  • Varied project locations across Newcastle, Maitland, the Hunter, Dubbo, and Central Plains regions

About The Role
WorkPac is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Traffic Controllers to join our clients team on a long-term project. This role offers the opportunity to work with an established civil and infrastructure contractor.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Set up, manage, and remove traffic control devices including cones, signs, and barriers
  • Safely direct traffic using stop/slow batons and approved procedures
  • Implement and monitor Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) on-site
  • Conduct pre-start safety checks, hazard assessments (SWMS/JSAs), and complete site documentation
  • Communicate effectively with crews, site managers, and relevant authorities
  • Ensure strict compliance with workplace health and safety protocols

What You Will Need

  • Previous experience as a Traffic Controller preferred, but not essential
  • White Card
  • Current Traffic Controller (TC) Yellow Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans (TMI) accreditation required
  • Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner

(*Note: Some applicants may hold the former Blue Card this is now covered under the TC Yellow Card system in NSW.)
