Eastern Creek Tavern is known for hearty food, relaxed vibes, and a team that looks after each other. We're looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen brigade and learn the ropes alongside a supportive Head Chef and Sous Chef.
This is the perfect role if you've finished your apprenticeship and have a year or two of kitchen experience and want to develop your skills in a fast-paced but friendly environment. This is a full time salaried position.

What You'll Be Doing
- Prepping fresh ingredients and plating dishes to a high standard
- Supporting the senior chefs during service – grill, pans, fryers, pass
- Learning new techniques and helping to keep service running smoothly
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen
- Upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times

About You
- A passion for cooking and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Commis Chef
- A positive attitude, reliable work ethic and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a busy service environment
- Flexibility to work a mix of day, night and weekend shifts
- High attention to detail
