We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team in preparing and serving high-quality fish & chips and fresh seafood. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a friendly attitude toward customers, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and serve fish & chips, seafood dishes, and side items to company standards.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, prep, and service areas in line with food safety regulations.Handle fresh seafood with care, ensuring quality, freshness, and proper storage.Operate fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, answering menu questions, and handling transactions.Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and deliveries to maintain freshness of ingredients.Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.Qualifications & SkillsPrevious experience in a fast food, seafood, or restaurant environment (preferred but not essential; training provided).Knowledge of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods.Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment.Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg (for stock and supplies).Benefits (optional section, depending on your offer)Staff meals/discounts on seafood dishes.Flexible shifts and scheduling.Opportunities for training, career growth, and promotion into supervisory roles.
