Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in the Greater Sydney Area. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. The role includes preparing budgets, income tax returns, and supporting audits of self-managed funds. Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budget preparation, and cash flow management
  • Experience with accounting software, BGL360/or Class Super.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in the Greater Sydney Area
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or CA certification is preferred
  • Prior experience in CA/CPA firm is an advantage
