The Role

They're looking for a hands on Part-Time Assistant Accountant (20 hours per week) to join a small, close-knit finance team. This role will see you supporting core accounting functions while gaining exposure to a growing and purpose-driven organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting month-end processes including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable, staff expenses, and supplier payments
  • Assisting with payroll processing for a mid-sized workforce
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations and assisting with accounts receivable when required
  • Contributing to financial reporting and ad hoc finance tasks alongside senior leaders

About You

  • Practical accounting or bookkeeping experience across AP, payroll, and reconciliations
  • Proficient in accounting software and highly skilled in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a small team
