Don't come for an easy career. Stay for a rewarding one.
At Santos, we do work that matters and always have. When you join us, so will you.
As an ASX 20 global energy company, we're committed to providing reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone.
To make it happen, we work as One Team and ask ourselves, "How can we?" (Even when others say, "We can't.")
We're proud of our history as pioneers, problem-solvers, and pragmatists. And as we strive to achieve our Vision2040, we've got our sights set on a culture that is focussed and disciplined to drive value, and entrepreneurial and energised to leave a positive legacy.
The difference isn't just thinking big – it's delivering on it too.
As part of the team, you'll tackle one of the most complex problems of our time. It's no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.
What you'll do:

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Support operator-maintainer schedule compliance and scheduling execution processes
- Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) toolbox and meeting management
- Assist with day-to-day administrative activities to ensure smooth operations
- Coordination and implementation of EHS Audits and Inspections
- Parts and Technical Documentation Management support in SAP and documentation system
- Support implementation of Operations-Excellence Standards
- Field tasks aimed at developing Operator Maintainer skills
What you'll bring:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced candidate with relevant industry experience, excellent communication skills and a great attitude. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to manage competing priorities for multiple stakeholders
- Keen eye for detail and thorough organisational skills
- Proactive, flexible and keen for action
- Competent use of the Microsoft Office suite as well as computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) – ideally SAP
- Valid light vehicle drivers' licence required. Light Rigid (LR) drivers' licence is desirable.
In addition, any knowledge or experience of the following will be looked upon favourably:
- Trade qualified and/or licence for dogging, rigging etc. or prior experience as a Trades Assistant
- Knowledge of operations and maintenance orders operations and parts requirements across commonly used equipment across production and processing plants
- Familiar with a documentation management system, such as MyPlant, specifically initiating and processing transmittals to manage technical documentation.
- Familiar with Permit to Work processes & equipment isolations (lock out, tag out)
- Previous history working FIFO Roster and ideally within the natural resources industries
What you'll get:
Here, you'll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects. We don't shy away from solving tough problems at pace. We like it that way. You can expect to be challenged and supported; to learn and grow.
At Santos, we're committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. This means a place that is safe; where you are valued and respected, and your contribution is recognised and appreciated. Join us, and you'll play a role in this too.
Each of our sites offer access to specific amenities that aim to create the best possible benefits to your health, wellbeing and performance.
What you're part of:
Everywhere you turn you will be a part of a team who are coming together to contribute to our single uniting purpose - to provide reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone
And because it's not only what you do, but how you do it, you will also contribute to improving the living standards of the communities where we operate, building enduring and respectful relationships that serve a generation. It's about each of us, and all of us – together.
How to Apply:
Applications must be submitted via the online recruitment system by 17th September 2025.
