About the Role

Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanicto be based at ourRutherford Workshop.

The team member we are looking for would hold experience in fault finding and maintenance on a wide range of light vehicles associated to the transport, automotive and mining industry. You will be undertaking repairs, maintenance, and overhauls of a variety of light vehicles for our respected clients. You will have a practical, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail surrounded by a professional and caring environment.

Key Duties

  • Demonstrated safety first work ethic and professional attitude
  • Ability to read plans and produce detailed quality work
  • Experience: Servicing, repairs, troubleshooting, fault finding, and diagnostics over a wide range of light Vehicles
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

The Requirements

  • Trade Qualification - Light Vehicle
  • Current RMS light and heavy vehicle inspection certification (desirable)
  • Current HR or HC licence (desirable)
  • Proven ability to provide quality customer service outcomes
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
  • Experience in transport or heavy vehicle workshop will be highly regarded
