As a distributor to both food service and retail clients, our product and brand range is extensive across frozen, chilled and dry foods as well as ancillary products, like packaging and cleaning goods.

We are the exclusive distributor to many local and international retail products that you know and recognise, and we service an extensive range of industries, across hospitality like Cafes, Restaurants, Function Centres, Caterers, Hotels, Clubs, Takeaways, including many high-end well-known establishments.

Sealane has a national sales network, our own fleet of trucks, a large, environmentally friendly and energy efficient purpose-built facility, and we are growing in all aspects of our business. With close to 100 staff and due to an internal promotion, we are now actively looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.

How you will spend your time:

You will be required to lead and manage a team of 20 and be responsible for all Warehouse dispatch operations. This position will report to and assist the Warehouse Manager.

  • This is a permanent afternoon shift, working Monday to Thursday and Sunday (4.30pm to 12.30am)
  • Supervise, coach and support a diverse warehouse team that is committed to meeting KPI metrics
  • Overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, safe and accurate picking, packing and dispatch of goods
  • Foster a positive, safe and accountable team culture
  • Experience with WMS and ERP systems (Navision, Business Central BC)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with initiative and enthusiasm
  • Motivate your team to excel in their roles by driving performance and multitasking
  • Adhere to safety standards and ensure an organised and hazard-free warehouse environment

Skills Needed:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of warehouse dispatch operations and inventory management
  • Proven people leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with WMS and ERP systems
  • Forklift licence (mandatory); high reach licence (highly regarded)
  • Sound knowledge of WHS/OHS requirements

Mandatory:

  • MUST HAVE A CURRENT FORKLIFT LICENCE
  • MUST HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS TO WORK IN AUSTRALIA
