Our Disability and Specialised Services Division provides valuable support to the South Australian community through direct service delivery, inclusion policy and sector reform work. As a registered NDIS provider, they provide SIL services that supervise and help with everyday tasks to support people living with disability to live as independently as possible. The Division also encompasses quality and clinical services and the DHS Equipment Program.
Role Details
Disability Services is seeking an Assistant Director who can champion continuous improvement and innovative services models that enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
We are seeking an experienced leader who can:
- lead and manage operational staff across a Supported Independent Living (SIL) service region to deliver high-quality, person-centred disability services
- implement and oversee NDIS reforms and associated cultural and organisational changes
- develop and interpret policies and procedures aligned with best practice and legislative requirements
- monitor performance against service delivery targets and budgets, ensuring continuous improvement
- manage resources effectively, including financial and staffing allocations, and report on key performance indicators
- foster strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service outcomes
- support workforce development, embedding a culture of safety, inclusion, and professional growth
- maintain sector knowledge through research and collaboration to respond to emerging needs and trends.

- Must hold a current Australian issued driver's licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Essential Qualifications
Incumbent must hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Leadership or Management or other relevant qualifications or significant experience in a similar role.
