- Salary Band: $78,975 - $93,298 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

**About You**

You are an experienced, flexible and resilient Executive Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional service and support. You are creative, enterprising, and innovative, and your warm and engaging interpersonal skills allow you to easily build rapport and influence at all levels of an organisation.

You work effectively under pressure, and you are comfortable making judgements about competing priorities, and initiating appropriate independent action as necessary. You display a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality, and you hold yourself to the highest moral and ethical standards.

**About the Role**

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing confidential, high level proactive executive and operational support to the Director: Future Industries Institute. Contributing to the effective operations of the Institute, the position is the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Director. The role is critical in supporting and maintaining key strategic relationships and serves as a liaison to the Institute Management Group.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Post-secondary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Experience providing EA support in the research environment and a broad awareness and understanding of the Australian research and higher education environments
- Significant experience in providing executive level support (including complex diary management) to a senior manager with the requirement to proactively respond to challenges, determine competing priorities, exercise independent judgement, work with documents of a sensitive nature, and an ability to maintain confidentiality of the highest standard
- Superior interpersonal / communication skills and experience building relationships and demonstrating the highest level of customer service with a diverse range of people and cultures at various levels
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and anticipate future requirements. High degree of initiative and resourcefulness, with the ability to instigate and undertake tasks with mínimal supervision or direction including acting as a team-player
