The purpose of the Senior Administration Officer is to provide, develop and maintain an efficient, effective, ethical and high-quality administrative and business support services across CLE. This role is required to contribute to the improvement of business processes and systems that enhance the functioning of the administration support for CLE.

What you'll do

  • Prioritise and manage administrative and business support including correspondence, email management, meeting, equipment and travel organisation in a highly complex and sensitive environment.
  • Use a wide range of financial, human resources (HR) and correspondence systems including S/4HANA, ExpenseMe Pro, Content Manager and myHR to process financial, human resource, travel and procurement requests.
  • Manage business and HR support functions for CLE.
  • Work autonomously, utilise discretion and deal with matters in the absence of decision makers to establish work priorities, meet deadlines, proactively identify, and resolve issues and negotiate effective outcomes in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Liaise, consult and maintain effective relationships across CLE, and internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in a high performing team by contributing to quality improvement of operating procedures and quality checking outputs.
  • Assist with and undertake project work, including but not limited to communication, engagement, strategy, and governance.
  • Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces.

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • Proven experience in providing high level confidential executive and administrative support to a fast-paced business branch in a complex area of operation.
  • Proven ability to utilise a high degree of initiative, autonomy, decision making and negotiation skills and reliability in operating independently with minimal guidance and direction and prioritising a busy workload.
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in contemporary computer software applications, including Microsoft Office (such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), financial and HR systems, email and calendar applications and internet applications.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with officers at all levels incorporating the abilities of integrity, tact, maintenance of ethical conduct, confidentiality and client interests.
  • Stimulates ideas and innovation – Brings people together to build new solutions through testing and refinement.
  • Leads change in complex environments – Identifies the underlying cause of issues through considered analysis and integration of various pieces of data and insight.
  • Drives accountability and outcomes – Works collaboratively to develop clear and shared objectives that inspire collective ownership for delivery of quality outcomes.
