Truck Driver – Construction Team (Theodore)

$72, Allowances + Superannuation (up to 12%)

Banana Shire Council is looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our Construction Team in Theodore. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining trucks, carrying out general labouring tasks, and undertaking traffic control duties.

You will have the following qualifications:

  • Current QLD Class 'HC' driver's licence
  • QLD Construction White Card or Blue Card (General Safety Induction)

Highly Regarded Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in operating heavy vehicles within a construction and maintenance infrastructure environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment under minimal supervision
  • Sound literacy, numeracy and oral communication skills and ability undertake Learning and Development opportunities, as required

Desirable

  • Implement Traffic Management Plans (ITMP)
  • Traffic Controller
  • Other plant operating tickets/licences
