We are seeking a skilled Rework Coordinator to join our Parts & Accessories team for a 6-month contract role in Clayton South, Victoria. Note: We will be relocating to a new facility in Dandenong South later this year.

About the Role

Reporting to our General Manager Parts & Accessories and with support of the P&A Rework Team Leader, you will have a key role in facilitating smooth rework processes.

The P&A Rework Coordinator's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and placing sales orders from OEM customers
  • Processing inbound and outbound shipments for rework (e.g. sorting, loading and unloading goods)
  • Preparing parts for rework including consolidating orders from multiple suppliers
  • Coordinating reworking activities for conversion parts
  • Transferring parts between production sites
  • Confirming part rework processes with process engineers and production teams
  • Escalating issues with service part releasing
  • Ensuring adherence to Walkinshaw Automotive Group and legislative OH&S standards

While this is a contract role, our organisation is currently experiencing significant growth, and there is potential opportunity for ongoing employment following the conclusion of the initial contract period.

About You

  • Knowledge of OH&S standards and practices
  • Knowledge of warehouse logistics, storage and handling procedures
  • Ability to process warehouse documentation (e.g. shipping invoices, picking slips and con notes)
  • Ability to operate forklift trucks (current licence)
  • High level organisation skills and IT skills, with the ability to use ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability and attention to detail
  • Good physical fitness and stamina (preferred candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical examination)
