Job description

We are currently seeking a Junior Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to grow within the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

· Assist in the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects

· Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates

· Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

· Help maintain a database of cost information and historical data

· Support senior estimators throughout the tendering process

· Attend site visits and meetings as required

· Contribute to the preparation of bid proposals and documentation

Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

· 1–2 years of experience in a construction estimating role

· Strong numerical and analytical skills

· Familiarity with construction drawings and documentation

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam or similar.
