We are looking for results oriented retail Store Manager for our Furniture store in Oakleigh and Dandenong outlet.

Furn House is one of the fastest growing furniture retail businesses in Australia. We started in 2011 as a small furniture business with a vision to provide affordable and functional home and living furniture to all Australians. We currently operate through 4 Retail stores in Melbourne and have an impressive online presence. You will be responsible for the overall store management and be responsible for building & enhancing customer satisfaction by providing exceptional in store experience for all customers visiting our store.

Responsibilities

· Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor, role modelling the selling process, personally interacting with customers and positively impacting the sales process.

· Meet and/or exceed store sales goals as directed by the Company

· Develop business strategies to raise our customers' pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability

· Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service

· Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

· Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

· Arrange & maintain store display

· Display point of sale information

· Enhance social media presence by regular posts

· Report on buying trends, customer needs, profit increasing strategies etc

· Propose innovative ideas to increase market share

· Deal with all issues that arise from customers (complaints, grievances etc)

· Be a shining example of well behaviour and high performance

· Accurately manage inventory

· Ensure proper cash handling procedures are strictly enforced

· Able to lift & move furniture

· Additional store manager duties as needed

Eligibility:

· Proven successful experience in furniture sales

· Powerful leading skills and business orientation

· Customer management skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Advanced computer skills

· Prior experience in sales/ retail

· Knowledge of POS system or similar

· Excellent communication skills

· General Maths skills

· Flexible availability across 7 day trading

· Motivation to work through busy trading periods

· A self-motivator

· An outgoing and friendly personality

· The ability to be proactive and take on new instructions/tasks

· Immediate start.

Benefits:

This job carries attractive wages plus super and bonus incentives

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
