Melbourne based Online and Retail Furniture & Homewares Business is seeking a Warehouse Assistant or Supervisor / Delivery Driver for its Oakleigh Warehouse.

We pride ourselves on quality of products and continuity of reliable deliveries which we despatch Australia Wide.

We are seeking an experienced and well presented team player who can deliver a professional and reliable service for our customers.

The position is casual, leading into part time position, requiring the successful applicant to work on a roster system on any or all of the following days: Monday - Fridays, 8.00am - 4.00pm. Weekly hours range from 15 hours - 40 hour week, averaging 3 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities;
- Stock allocation and administration (Overseeing the allocation of stock into designated areas within the warehouse).
- Booking domestic carriers / couriers
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, stock-take and audit of same to verify results
- General warehouse ad hoc duties required by management
- Van delivery of goods to our local customers
- Picking and packing orders
- Container Unloading
- Maintain safe and clean working conditions of warehouse
- Working closely with Customer Service and Sales Team.
- Controlling Stock Levels at our warehouse, and transferring stock when required to retail store.
- Assembling furniture and repair work.
- Administration duties as required to ensure daily sales and online inventory accuracy is achieved.

To be considered for this vacancy, you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes and skills:

- Previous experience in warehousing / delivery driver essential
- Current driver license
- Forward thinking and excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Proven experience and understanding of OH&S
- Computer literacy, previous experience using Excel & CIN7 inventory software is advantageous
- Committed to being part of a small team
- Ability to work unsupervised

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
