About the role

We are seeking a motivated part-time pharmacist to join our team at Direct Chemist Outlet in Oakleigh South, Victoria. As a key member of our health services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and advice to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Providing professional advice and guidance to customers on the safe and appropriate use of medications and over the counter products
  • Providing immunisation
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
  • Assisting with preparing the customers medication packs

What we're looking for

  • Current general registration with AHPRA to practice in Victoria
  • Current immunisation certificate and First & CPR certificate
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management, and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, pharmacy team and other healthcare providers
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as a sole pharmacist and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct
  • Flexibility to work on the Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Proficient in FRED Dispense software
  • Ability to provide Vaccinations
  • Experience in providing ORT
  • Newly registered pharmacists are welcome to apply
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and ability to pass a National Police Check
