THE ROLE

The Director Portfolio Planning leads a Unit responsible for the delivery of local portfolio plans, future pipeline of social and affordable housing, policy development in relation to land, planning and precincts to deliver social and affordable housing outcomes and program coordination.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Lead the development of Local Area Plans to identify asset investment opportunities. Local Area Plans will include forecast demand and supply of social and affordable housing, leveraging data and spatial tools, to strategically inform prioritisation of housing renewal and growth, and divestment and acquisition at a municipal and neighbourhood level.
  • Develop and establish a potential pipeline of social and affordable housing projects for Homes Victoria which strategically improve and grows the social and affordable housing portfolio, working in close collaboration with Branches across Homes Victoria in particular the Asset Management branch and the Housing Delivery Branch.
  • Develop capital funding bids and business cases as part of the annual budget cycle and in response to state and Commonwealth funding programs.
