Details regarding the role:

The Planning Operations Director role focuses on implementing workflow changes to enhance output quality - at scale. This position blends operational and planning expertise across the entire Victorian Government account. This role is perfect for someone interested in data analysis (800+ online media briefs) and when/how to use Omni to improve our response quality consistency. Candidates will be expected to have an opinion on how media agencies may work in the future, as they will be directly involved in shaping this new role with the Group Operations Director. Given this product role will influence team workflows for 60+ people, experience in Project and Change Management is required.

Your previous experience:

  • Experience in the media industry; covering strategy, planning, implementation, and digital media.
  • Perspective on the current changing media landscape and the impact of future changes to media planning (ie. commence, privacy, attention).
  • Proven ability to manage large projects effectively, including; creating project plans, defining deliverables, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency with workflow tools such as Jira, Asana, or to streamline project management, enhance productivity, and interpret workflow data.
