Community Service Manager required for a Not-for-Profit Organisation.

Hays Recruitment Townsville are pleased to partner with a compassionate and innovative Not-for-Profit Organisation, who offer individualised home care support services that assist and promote their participants to flourish and live independently.
Your new role
As Community Service Manager, you will be expected to guide and positively influence staff, volunteers and contractors in their daily roles, and liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, all whilst working closely with the Management Committee.
- Your priorities will be to implement and oversee all Clinical Governance Frameworks, and ensure all compliance required is inline with the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission.
- Manage all financial and service delivery operations
- Organise and assist in implementing strategic plans for the Organisation, including quality management plans, engagement strategies, risk management and human resources plans.
- Ensure that all clients are receiving the highest quality, person-centred care.
- Build and maintain professional and positive relationships with all clients, staff and management.
- Commit to growing and supporting the business of the Organisation in line with the community's needs.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following:
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in a Clinical Management position, preferably in Aged Care.
- The ability to be a strong and decisive leader who can build lasting relationships.
- Previous experience liaising with government funding departments is advantageous.
- Be able to strategise work plans, think critically and analytically.
- The ability to be positive and inspire others in their roles to promote a high-performance culture to achieve business goals.
- Hold a strong understanding and knowledge of risk management, infection control practices, and ethical and legal standards.
