Gaia Retreat & Spa is one of Australia's most awarded boutique lifestyle wellness retreats. We offer a luxurious nurturing space for those wishing to relax, realign and recharge. Located high up in the stunning sub-tropical Byron Bay Hinterland, Gaia boasts magnificent views on 25 acres which includes two kitchen gardens, beehives, resident chickens and an aquaponics system.

Our food philosophy continually sets to create and serve the world's best wellness cuisine, and our Paddock to Plate practice brings to life the best local, seasonal, sustainable and organic produce.

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional casual restaurant waitstaff to join our team. In this role, you'll help deliver exceptional high-end service, providing a seamless experience for our guests and clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a polished, fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering top-quality service with a smile

Ideally, you'll have a great personality, love working with food. You are eager to take initiative, with a can-do attitude and high attention to detail. You are also able to work within a small team whilst supporting the nurturing, guest centric retreat ethos.

We are looking for an individual who is comfortable both working by themselves and as part of a team, is available for a mix of early mornings, days and nights, with at least 1 weekend day required.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in a high end restaurant
  • Passionate about service
  • Current RSA
  • An ability to deal with multiple special dietary requirements at each service
