Food and Beverage Attendant – Griffith NSW

The restaurant is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Food & Beverage Assistant to join the front-of-house team. The role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality service and contributing to a venue that values tradition, precision, and hospitality.

  • Location – Griffith NSW.
  • Salary – A great salary is offered in the range of $75k to $80k plus superannuation per annum.
  • Tenure – Full-time and ongoing.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Welcome and seat guests with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
  • Serve meals and drinks in accordance with established service protocols.
  • Provide informed menu guidance and accommodate dietary requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions.
  • Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist with private functions and group bookings as required.

About you:

  • You have a passion for the hospitality industry and are up to date on wine and food trends.
  • You can demonstrate an uncompromising attitude towards hospitality and service.
  • Are empathetic to those around you and work well under pressure.

To be successfully considered for the role, you:

  • Suitable academic background, Cert III or agreed substitute.
  • A minimum of one or more years' experience in a comparable upscale hospitality role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with Italian cuisine and service etiquette (preferred).
  • Competence in POS operation and basic cash handling.
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
