Built Environment Collective (BEC) is an Australian-based multi-discipline Engineering & Project Management Design Consultancy. We work across a range of market sectors and project types, both domestically and internationally. We're looking for an experienced Bid Coordinator to join our growing team - someone who thrives on crafting compelling, compliant, and client-focused tenders that tell a clear story and stand out from the crowd.

As part of a collaborative, high-performing team, you'll work closely with technical specialists and leaders to translate complex ideas into persuasive, professional proposals that win work and strengthen client relationships.

About the role:

  • Research, plan and write high-quality tenders, proposals and capability statements.
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders and ensure submissions are compliant, consistent and on time.
  • Tailor bid content to client needs, aligning with win themes and value propositions.
  • Support continuous improvement of templates, bid libraries and style guides.
  • Contribute to post-bid reviews and lessons learned to enhance future submissions.

About you:

Ideally, you will have the following attributes:

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn technical information into clear, persuasive content.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management under tight deadlines.
  • Experience preparing bids, tenders, or proposals (preferably in professional services, engineering, or construction).
  • Familiarity with government & private sector tendering processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills - you're confident engaging with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a drive to continually improve bid quality and success rates.
