We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman / Supervisor with extensive expertise in Bulk Excavation to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing excavation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while leading a team of workers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise daily bulk excavation operations to ensure efficient project completion.
- Work across medium to large unit developments
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed on-site.
- Coordinate and communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor and manage the work performance of crew members, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure the correct use of machinery and equipment in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, materials used, and labor hours.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site and provide solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in bulk excavation projects, with a strong understanding of earthworks, grading, and site preparation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of excavation machinery and safety equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications in construction and safety.
