Professional Development and Learning Resource Lead

About the role:
Operating across the Education Portfolio, the purpose of the Professional Development and Learning Resource Lead is to provide operational expertise and leadership in the design, development, delivery and continuous improvement of AMES Australia's educational resources and professional development (PD) programs. This position also assists the Senior Manager in improving systems and processes that underpin organisational accountability and continuous improvement.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Degree in Education, Adult/Vocational Education or related field with a TESOL major or equivalent which includes a practicum; Current Certificate IV TAE;
- AND Minimum 3 years' experience in curriculum design, resource development and/or PD delivery with some experience in managing educational projects, supervising and developing employees
- Advanced understanding of ASQA Standards, VET Quality Framework and adult-learning pedagogy
- Demonstrated capability to manage people, projects and quality systems concurrently
- Experience in internal and external audit, quality review and evidence management processes
- Proven ability to design, deliver and evaluate professional learning programs
- Strong analytical, report-writing and presentation skills
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills for reports, training and stakeholder engagement
- Digital literacy with Learning Management System (LMS), content management and collaboration tools
- Thorough knowledge of a wide range of English language and literacy curricula
- Proven ability to plan and produce high quality teaching and learning resources
- Proven ability to assess program needs and consult on project outcomes to address identified teaching and learning needs
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, databases, web applications, use of AI tools and the ability to learn and train others in the use of Information Systems
- Knowledge of instructional design and digital learning platforms is desirable
- Commitment to innovation, inclusion, equity and continuous improvement
