Job Description

Position Objectives

The Community services Directorate consists of the Community Legal Centre, Financial Counselling Program, Specialist Homelessness and Settlement Services, Tenancy Advocacy and Assistance Program and the Emergency Response Program.

This position would work closely with the Financial Counselling Program. Mallee Family Care provide a range of Financial Counselling and capability services for vulnerable and disadvantaged community members, including people experiencing family violence, people with disabilities, and people on low incomes.

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Highly desirable: a Diploma of Community Services or Financial Counselling (or commitment to further study), experience in assessment and screening.
  • A current driver's licence and a willingness to travel and preparedness to be accommodated overnight when required.
