Allocations Officer

About The Role:

The role is a customer-service based role supporting our substantial workforce, potential employees and our Community Service Organisation clients.

This role is part of a team responsible for providing efficient and effective rostering and customer service assistance to all our stakeholders in a fast past 24/7 environment.

This team deals with a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to our workforce for rostering, applicants for positions within the organisation, client stakeholders regarding updates and roster changes.

This role is a full-time office based role located in Dandenong. The role requires a rotating weekday roster, which will also require the successful candidate to be part of a rotating weekend roster. (Weekend work is completed from home)

About You:

• Previous rostering experience in a disability or community services organisation highly desirable
• Understanding of the SCHADS Award rules and their impact on shift changes
• High attention to detail, takes pride in doing a job well and delivering on commitments
• Demonstrated excellent written communication skills including general business correspondence
• Excellent people skills, ability to interact positively with employees and clients when under time pressure
• A professional telephone manner
• Ability to show initiative and problem solve
• Confident computer skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of rostering applications

The following are also required to obtain employment with 24 Hour Priority Care Australia:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working with Children Check (employee).
• Current Criminal Record Check (International Check may be required)
• Full Rights to work in Australia or equivalent
