Direct Care Resources is a well-established care provider in Southeast Queensland, with a focus on supported independent living, community access, and child protection services. With over 27 years of experience in the industry, the organisation is dedicated to participant care, health, safety, and well-being. We deliver holistic care to children and young people, with a strong commitment to ensuring they are safe, supported, and empowered to have their voices heard.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle from job posting, candidate screenings, talent pool management, interview bookings, reference checks, compliance checks and issuing contractual offers.
- Empower hiring managers and provide recruitment advice, influence and support, striving for best practice recruitment outcomes.
- Organising and conducting recruitment activities and mandatory induction training.
Talent Strategy
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and support in developing and implementing a growth-driven recruitment process and strategy aligned to business development goals and business needs.
- Champion the development and creation of an EVP – a creative opportunity that will focus on our competitive advantages, benefits, branding and organisational values.
- Maximise existing recruitment channels and pipelines to secure skilled candidates.
HR Administration/Support
- Manage the HR Inbox and action all items in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with our Care Operations, Rostering and Payroll teams to track and manage the workforce for operational, reporting, documentation and compliance purposes.
- Support the WFM team in any other duties associated with DCR business objectives.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and general HR Administration.
- Excellence in communication with a talent for engaging with diverse stakeholders and building long-term relationships.
- The will to build a thorough understanding of recruiting for the needs of our clients, and clearly communicating mandatory working requirements
- Strong understanding of clinical environments and the NDIS/disability sector (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms such as JobAdder, BambooHR is experience highly regarded
- Degree qualified preferred
