Junior Inventory Controller

As a junior inventory controller, you will learn the ins and outs of the job. Your role involves but not limited to: assisting in incoming goods, tracking inventory, stock movements, forklift checklist, admin assisting, cleaning.

The Role:

  • Handle transactions and respond to incoming requests with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage incoming stock: inspect for quality, ensure correct quantities.
  • Help control inventory by conducting regular cycle counts, verifying against stock lists, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee warehouse stock movements and coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Prioritise safety - uphold Work, Health, and Safety standards, and follow company policies without compromise.
  • Perform daily forklift checks, complete safety checklists, and report issues immediately to keep operations running smoothly.
  • General cleaning

To be successful:

  • Preferably 1 year of warehouse experience.
  • A "can-do" attitude, with the drive to own your role and deliver results.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Sharp attention to detail and confidence handling numbers.
  • Steady under pressure - you thrive when things get busy.
  • Valid driver's license.
