IT Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and evaluate incoming used laptops for physical condition and functionality
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing on all system components (CPU, memory, storage, display, keyboard, etc.)
- Execute basic repairs including screen replacement, keyboard replacement, and battery replacement
- Clean and sanitize laptops thoroughly, including internal components
- Install and configure Windows operating system and necessary drivers
- Perform quality control testing to ensure all systems meet company standards
- Document technical issues, repairs performed, and system specifications
- Prepare refurbished laptops for packaging and shipping
- Maintain organized workspace and inventory records

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of laptop hardware components and Windows operating systems
- Experience with hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Ability to handle multiple units simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic repair skills
- Proficiency in installing and configuring Windows and related drivers
- Strong organizational and documentation skills

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
