- Parramatta preferred; other NSW locations considered on request
- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $129,464 to $142,665 + super and annual leave loading
- Support policy and governance across the Procurement functions
About the role
As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will be working across the high functioning strategic Procurement team within Corporate Services, where you will be supporting a Procurement Manager. You will be involved in partnering with and advising client stakeholders in planning, sourcing and managing high value/complex procurement arrangements to meet business objectives. This will involve understanding and applying the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework and advising on best practice procurement methods and approaches.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in legislative and Government Procurement requirements and in drafting procurement policies and implementing governance practices
- Expertise in leading end to end high-value, complex strategic sourcing activities for categories such as construction (GC21, MW21), and general goods & services, including ICT.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management and working with cross-functional teams
