About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and skilled Civil Construction Operators to join our dynamic team across Metropolitan Melbourne. With a strong pipeline of projects offering consistent work, this is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to further develop their skills and grow their careers in civil construction.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy civil machinery on major landfill and construction projects. If you have a passion for operating high-spec equipment and are committed to safety and quality, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain a variety of heavy civil machinery including 30-70 tonne excavators, Skid steers, Moxy trucks, dump trucks, water carts, and D8 dozers for bulk excavations and civil works.
  • Perform excavations, grading, and compaction for various landfill and civil construction projects.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
  • Work closely with site supervisors and the project team to meet deadlines and project requirements.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

About You:

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of operating experience in civil construction, with a focus on operating 30-70 tonne excavators, Moxy trucks, dump trucks, water carts, and D8 dozers.
  • Construction White Card is essential.
  • Valid and reliable Victorian Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests as part of our site safety protocols.
  • Strong focus on safety, reliability, and quality of work.
  • Motivated and able to work well within a team environment.

Desirable:

  • Additional civil machinery operating tickets or experience.
  • Prior experience working on landfill or civil construction sites.
