The Opportunity
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating Quality Assurance and Control activities that lead to continuous improvement and maintain client confidence
Any given day may see you…
- Identifying the quality related risks and oversee QA deliverables and requirements for project.
- Maintaining compliance, mitigating project disruption, and contributing to the development of HSEQ initiatives.
- Developing QA documentation like Inspection test Plans (ITPs), procedures, checklists and other supporting QA deliverable documentation.
- Coordinating and closure of Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in rectification of non-conformances and worklots
- Reporting of lot management RFIs and NCRs to the construction teams
- Assisting the Quality Manager with providing closeout documentation in accordance with the Quality and Completion Plan
- Leading quality culture on projects, maintaining a high standard of work practices and ensuring safety, integrity, respect, and confidentiality
- Recommending training and implementation of Toolbox Talks where deficiencies in workforce experience or skills exist\
- Managing safety, time, cost, and quality
- Reporting production costs daily, weekly, and monthly.
Here's what we are looking for…
- A person who excels in collaborating in project teams and has a passion for complex and major infrastructure development.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or Project Management.
- At least 4 years experience in a similar role delivering civil infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
- Demonstrated experience in effectively working with authorities, such as local councils, utilities companies and Major Road Projects Victoria,
