We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our team in a full-time, permanent role (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week). This role reports directly to the HR Manager and is ideal for someone passionate about HR systems and managing end-to-end human resources processes.

About the role:

  • Maintaining all employee records and HR policies in accordance with legislation and ISO standards
  • Responding to internal and external HR inquiries
  • Coordinating training, performance reviews, and employee development programs
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Drafting employment contracts and HR documentation
  • Assisting with internal HR projects and reporting

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar HR support role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Employment Hero experience advantageous)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal
  • High attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Previous experience in mining, engineering, or technical services is preferred
