The opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Employment Consultant to join our expanding team in NSW.
In this role, you'll draw upon your extensive experience in Disability Employment Services (DES) and Workforce Australia (or Job Active) programs to support job seekers in achieving meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes. You will work closely with job seekers, employers, and support networks to tailor plans, remove barriers, and facilitate strong job matches that last.
You'll play a key role in mentoring junior consultants, strengthening service delivery models, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across our employment division.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience as an
Employment Consultant
or
Senior Employment Consultant
within
Disability Employment Services (DES)
and/or
Workforce Australia / Job Active
programs - Proven success in achieving employment placement and retention targets
- Strong understanding of government contract compliance and performance frameworks
- Excellent communication, case management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
