The Lane Group is a long-standing, multi-franchise dealership proudly serving Mandurah and its surroundings. We are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Parts Interpreter to join our high-performing team.

Your role is to run our Ford & Mitsubishi Parts Department and support our Service Department and Sales Department, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of parts to our technicians and valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service via phone, email, and over-the-counter enquiries
  • Accurately identify and supply automotive parts using electronic catalogues and DMS
  • Prepare and processing quotes, orders, invoices and warranty claims
  • Source, order, and receive parts, ensuring timely delivery to the workshop and retail clients
  • Maintain correct stock levels through effective stock control and inventory management
  • Liaise with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the correct parts on time
  • Support showroom merchandising and promotional displays
  • Assist with stocktakes and compliance with manufacturer requirements
  • Provide technical advice on parts and accessories to customers when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter role (preferably within a dealership or trade environment)
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and genuine vs aftermarket parts
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to build rapport with technicians and trade clients
  • A valid WA driver's licence (manual licence preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Titan DMS or similar systems highly regarded
