About the role
As our new Shift Manager – Fabrication and Print, you'll take the reins of our print and fabrication operations at our Tamworth site. From balloons and mugs to personalised household products, you'll lead a team that brings the Moonpig magic to life. You'll manage performance, ensure Health & Safety standards, and keep our production running like clockwork. You'll be a hands-on leader, supporting your team during peak periods and driving continuous improvement across the board.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop the Print and Fabrication teams, ensuring operator training and competency.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring consistent achievement of SLAs and production output.
- Manage rotas, staffing, and training plans to maintain a safe and skilled workforce.
- Collaborate with the Shift Manager – Off-the-Shelf and Maintenance teams to optimise workflow.
- Monitor consumables and materials, ensuring efficient stock management and reordering.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and Health & Safety compliance.
- Log and communicate shift updates, technical issues, and team development progress.
- Take the lead on continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Step in during busy periods to keep things moving smoothly.
- Experience leading in a fast-paced production or operational environment.
- Strong people management skills – you're confident in coaching, training, and developing teams.
- Knowledge of digital print and fabrication machinery, such as HP presses and finishing equipment.
- Organised and proactive, with great communication skills and a hands-on mindset.
- Focused on Health & Safety with a drive for high operational standards.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with supply chain, maintenance, and operations teams.
- Passionate about continuous improvement and team performance.
