Assistant Manager - Busy Country Pub - The Tamworth Hotel

Flexible Week + Phone allowance + Liquor Allowance

We're a thriving country pub in the heart of Tamworth which prides itself on great food and booze, cracking entertainment and really looking after our locals.

We are seeking a Assistant Manager to work within a small, dynamic and creative team. We need someone who enjoys the challenges of a constantly evolving work environment, is passionate about customer service, and looking to further their career in hospitality.

You must have at least three years experience in a similar role to be considered for this role.

This is a full time role subject to the various shift-work challenges of hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Licensee and other managers
  • Responsible for the patron experience whilst on shift
  • Responsible for the management of venue, staff and patron experience whilst on shift
  • Assist in the running of all aspects of the business, including front-of-house work, staff recruitment, accounting, stock control and possibly  marketing and advertising.
  • Maintain a high standard of appearance and have excellent customer communication skills
  • Shifts are regular but the availability to work weekends, public holidays & evening shifts is a must
  • Be open to performing other duties within the Hotel as required
