Finance Manager / Bookkeeper (Part-Time, 1 Day/Week)
Location: Noosa, QLD | Reports to General Manager and Founder
Saya Skincare has been formulating high-performance skincare for over 20 years, blending advanced Australian botanical ingredients with powerful compounds supported by science. We are looking for a finance professional with e-commerce experience to join our team at our Noosa HQ one day per week to support our growth journey and help strengthen our financial operations as we continue to scale.
What you'll be responsible for:
Bookkeeping & Accounts
- Manage full-function accounts payable and receivable, including domestic and international suppliers.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Oversee credit card, payment gateway, and expense reconciliations.
Payroll & Compliance
- Prepare and process weekly payroll, superannuation, PAYG, and employee entitlements.
- Ensure compliance with ATO, Fair Work, and other statutory obligations.
- Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS statements and Annual Sales Reporting.
- Liaise with accountants, auditors, and the ATO as required.
Financial Management
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reports.
- Provide insights into performance, variances, and trends to support management decisions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor margins, working capital, and cash flow.
E-Commerce & Inventory
- Maintain integration accuracy across Xero, Unleashed and Shopify.
- Reconcile multi-channel e-commerce transactions.
- Support inventory management and product costing processes.
- Ensure finance systems are accurate, efficient, and up to date.
Commercial Advisory
- Provide insights on margins, cash flow, and working capital.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Support strategic projects and initiatives that drive sustainable growth.
Who you are
- An experienced finance professional with 3–5+ years experience in finance, ideally within an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (experience with Unleashed, Shopify, A2X or similar highly regarded)
- You are skilled at using Excel/Sheets to create and update reports including using linked sheets, formulas and macros.
- Background in product-based or e-commerce businesses preferred.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality, with the ability to deliver with minimal oversight.
- Based locally or within an easy commute to Noosa (role requires 1 day per week onsite).
