Types of Clients

We have 3 groups of clients

• Large Multinational Companies. Woodside, Chevron, Shell etc. They demand expertise with a 'need it now' attitude.
• Small & Medium businesses who supply maintenance services to the above companies. They need dependability and someone to rely on for expertise and turnaround times.
• Large National Electrical Distributors who distribute products to the above client base.

Above all else, Transtek is built on exceptional customer service and that is what we need this person to deliver.

Key Responsibilities

1. Triage and Troubleshooting: Receive and assess incoming items that require troubleshooting and confirming who and what happens next. We do not 'fix' anything internally, however we are responsible for basic diagnosis and then advising the customer if a replacement will be provided under warranty or it needs to be replaced.
2. Identify and troubleshoot any issues to determine the most efficient and effective course of action.
3. Processing Sales Orders: Transtek has the luxury of receiving quote requests and orders on a daily basis. Our product knowledge and suppliers are superior to anyone else in the industry. Our clients choose Transtek for this reason. We need you to learn the products and then help our clients choose the best products for their needs.
4. Quality Control: Paperwork is extremely important in Oil & Gas. Having a very high attention to detail is paramount as a simple hyphen in the wrong place in a 20 character SKU or serial number could end up with our Woodside not being able to measure the pressure of their gas supply correctly
5. Client Liaison and Communication: Maintain communication with clients to ensure they are informed of the status of their orders and any issues that arise during the process.
6. Be a nice person No-one likes working with non-team players so above all else we look to hire good people, with good morals who we enjoy working with

Candidates should have 1-2 years of customer service experience to effectively manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service standards.

As the Service Manager, you will be in a great position to impress our clients and our internal team with great suggestions, as well as demonstrating your excellent organisational & communication skills, a can-do attitude and your ability to keep clients happy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• We do not require any formal qualifications.
• We do not require that you have any technical knowledge of Intrinsically Safe Mobile Devices, Pressure Gauges or Calibration equipment BUT it will help if you're a bit of a geek who likes tinkering with cool stuff
• If you know the difference between 1 Bar and 100PSI, that will be useful but not essential
• If you know that Android is different to Apple, that will be helpful
• We will teach you what you need to know technically.
• What we can't teach is good manners, being helpful and being a genuinely nice person.
• This is a full time employed position. We cannot offer visas and you need a right to work in Australia.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Be able to work from our Bassendean office Mon-Friday around we can be flexible for the right applicant). We can accommodate school hours, 10-6 type or Tuesday off arrangements but this is NOT a work from home role.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is required for processing sales orders and managing client communications effectively.
